Wrexham have appointed Apollo executive Lee Solomon as a director of Wrexham AFC Limited, with a Companies House AP01 filing received on 10 June 2026 confirming the change.
The official document lists Solomon’s appointment date as 6 February 2026. It also records his nationality as American and his usual country of residence as the United States.

Solomon’s arrival matters because of his connection to Apollo, whose sports investment arm became part of Wrexham’s wider ownership picture in December 2025.
Wrexham add Apollo figure to the board
The Companies House filing makes this a formal boardroom step. It places a senior Apollo figure directly inside Wrexham’s leadership structure.
That is another sign of how much the club has changed since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over.
This is not a football appointment in the same way Phil Parkinson is central to the first team. But it does speak to the structure now being built around the club.

Solomon’s profile on Apollo Global Management identifies him as a Partner in Private Equity.
That background is relevant because Apollo Global Management announced Apollo Sports Capital as a minority investor in Wrexham AFC in December 2025.
