Wrexham has unveiled their new front-of-shirt sponsor ahead of the 2026/27 Championship season following their signing of a new multi-year sponsorship deal with the web browser owned by Mozilla.

Apart from being the front-of-shirt sponsor, the deal sees Firefox take up the mantle of being the club’s Official Web Browser Partner with both organizations agreeing to be partners through having developed vibrant communities globally by challenging conventional thinking.

Wrexham made the announcement regarding the signing of the deal on 8th July 2026.

Firefox joins Wrexham in multi-year agreement

The Firefox logo will be featured prominently on Wrexham’s jerseys during the whole season of 2026/27 as well as being the club’s Official Web Browser Partner.

According to the club, Firefox, which is supported by the Mozilla nonprofit organization, has been advocating for privacy and transparency and also providing consumers with choices when using the Internet for more than two decades now.

Mozilla explains partnership

John Solomon, Chief Marketing Officer at Mozilla, believes the partnership is a natural fit for both organisations.

“Partnering with Wrexham AFC is a natural fit. At their core, both Wrexham and Firefox are challenger brands that have built passionate global communities by doing work differently and staying true to who they are.

“Wrexham has created something incredibly special through authenticity, ambition, and a deep connection with its supporters. Firefox has approached the internet with that same philosophy, working to build it as it should be, with openness, community, and people at the centre of it all.

“We’re excited about what’s ahead and what we can build together.”

Co-chairmen welcome Firefox

Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds welcomed Firefox as Wrexham’s newest principal partner.

“We are thrilled to welcome Firefox as our new front-of-kit partner.

“We love an underdog story and both Wrexham and Firefox know the feeling of having to battle giants. It takes inventiveness, relentlessness and a pristine browsing history.

“So let’s effing go…”

This deal brings yet another commercial alliance to the football club of Wrexham prior to their Championship campaign.
