Wrexham supporters can now watch the opening chapter of Welcome to Wrexham without paying for a Disney+ or Hulu subscription after UK streaming service has made every episode of Season 1 available to stream for free in the UK. The move gives viewers an opportunity to revisit, or discover for the first time, the documentary that followed Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s takeover of the club.
All 18 episodes of the first season are now available through ITVX with a free account.
The series originally documented the Hollywood owners completing their purchase of Wrexham AFC before overseeing their first full campaign with the club.

What does Welcome to Wrexham Season 1 cover?
Season 1 follows Reynolds and McElhenney as they begin their ownership of Wrexham and learn about the club, its supporters and the city.
The documentary also charts Wrexham’s National League campaign while introducing many of the people who have helped shape the club’s modern story.
Supporters who have only recently started following Wrexham can now watch the series without taking out a Disney+ subscription.
Where can you watch the other seasons?
While ITVX has made the first season available free of charge here, the remaining instalments continue to stream exclusively on Disney+ in the UK.
That means Seasons 2, 3, 4 and the most recent Season 5 still require a Disney+ subscription.
The latest series follows Wrexham through their first campaign in the Championship, continuing the story that began in Season 1.
Anyone wanting to start from the beginning can simply create a free ITVX account and stream all 18 episodes immediately.
Further information about the series is available via ITVX.
The free release gives existing supporters a chance to revisit the beginning of Wrexham’s remarkable recent journey while allowing new fans to see how the story started.
