Wrexham supporters have backed a new SOTK1864 flag campaign this week, with the fundraising effort surpassing its target ahead of the club’s pre-season trip to Wisła Kraków following a standout £1000 donation.
The supporter-led initiative was launched with the aim of producing a large crowd surfer flag to enhance the away end atmosphere.
The original target was set at £700, but that figure has already been exceeded, with total donations passing £1,000 after a single four-figure contribution.
SOTK1864 outline plans for Wrexham away display
The project centres around a “Wxm Legends” crowd surfer flag, designed to create a stronger visual presence at away matches.
According to SOTK1864, the flag will measure 30ft by 25ft and is intended to be unveiled during the pre-season trip to Poland.
“We’re so excited to bring the Wxm Legends crowd surfer flag to life!”
The group confirmed production costs were quoted at £700 and stressed the scale of the display.
“It’s been quoted at £700 to produce, the perfect start to something special. Its a monster at 30ft x 25ft.”
SOTK1864 also acknowledged the importance of supporter backing as the project moves forward.
“We know we’re asking for your trust that we’ll deliver, but we’re genuinely eager to get this moving and need your support to make it happen.”
Supporters respond quickly to fundraising call
The response from Wrexham supporters has been immediate, with the fundraising total moving beyond its initial target in just a matter of hours.
The campaign, hosted on JustGiving, highlights the collective effort behind the initiative.
“We are a non-profit group of ordinary fans. None of us benefit financially from this – every hour, every idea, and every pound we raise goes directly into making the matchday experience better.”
The page confirms that any additional funds raised will be used for future supporter-led projects, with a focus on improving the atmosphere both home and away.
A significant moment in the campaign came with a single £1000 donation, which pushed the total beyond its original target in one move. The contribution, listed publicly on the JustGiving page with the name Jaroslaw Krolewski, underlined the level of backing behind the initiative and ensured the flag project could proceed without delay.

With the initial target already surpassed, attention now turns to delivering the display in Kraków and building on the growing momentum among the Wrexham fanbase.
