Wrexham fans are already anticipating the 2026/27 Championship campaign, and this new concept of the kits features what their next home and away jerseys could look like in light of the recent signing of Nex Playground as the club’s sleeve sponsor. The concept was created in line with the current rumors and announcements related to Wrexham’s commercial relations and also Macron’s recent design trends.
It should be stressed that the designs are not official ones and are solely based on the information which is currently available in regard to the commercial relations of Wrexham FC and discussions in the football shirt community.
Nevertheless, the designs give an insight into how the club could present itself in the upcoming jersey season.
A cleaner look for the home shirt
The idea departs from the retro look present on the 2025/26 home jersey for Wrexham.
This jersey sported white pinstripes and the characteristic white collar which was inspired by the jerseys worn by the team during the 80s era. Rather than sticking to this idea, this prediction sees the brand moving towards a more sleek design of a red jersey with embossed details.

The white contrast is kept to a minimum, with a simple crew neck replacing the larger collar used this season.
The design of the shirt is in keeping with the commercial partners that have been confirmed by the club for the season of 2026/27.
The logo of United Airlines can be seen on the front of the shirt due to the agreement between the club and the airline company. Macron also remains as the technical partner to Wrexham AFC after extending its partnership with the club.
The new Nex Playground branding also appears on the sleeves following the company’s recent announcement as the club’s official sleeve sponsor.
A bold direction for the away kit
Away kit design is based on another recent trend that has been created under the ownership of the club.
In contrast to simple change of colour, away kits of Wrexham in recent years have more and more emphasized Welsh identity by means of unique themes and designs. Having considered away kit with yellow-green daffodil pattern for 2025/26 season, this forecast suggests a return to mostly white shirts.
But in contrast to plain white shirts, the away concept features an abstract geometrical design on the shoulders and chest areas using red and green colours.
Commercial changes continue
One change that stands out in comparison to past seasons is the new sponsorship format.
As a result of the introduction of Nex Playground, Wrexham will have a new sleeve sponsor compared to last season’s one. The main shirt sponsor will be United Airlines, and the Macron’s Hero logo will continue appearing opposite the club badge.
The idea doesn’t feature a back-of-the-shirt sponsor since Wrexham has not revealed anything regarding a new sponsor at this time due to recent changes in its commercial strategy.
Just a fan concept for now
Currently, there is no information regarding what Wrexham FC kits for the 2026/27 season will look like.
With no official release coming from Wrexham AFC or Macron, fans will keep creating their own concepts on the basis of sponsorship deals revealed, previous design trends, and increasing popularity of the club.
Here is just one of many possible directions. Only time will tell if the final shirts will look like these designs.
