There are quite a few transfer rumours flying around that appear credible. Like Anthony Patterson from Sunderland and midfielder Ethan Galbraith from Swansea City. Speaking to Leader Live, Phil Parkinson has given fans his take on the speculation:
“Sometimes players get linked with us and there is truth in it and we end up signing them, or there’s ones who don’t get linked out into the press and we end up signing,”
“There’s not a hard-and-fast rule about it; whether it comes out it is true, or if it doesn’t come out it’s not.
“We can’t dictate what ends up in the media. We just concentrate on what we have got to do behind the scenes and keep trying to improve the squad year in, year out, and that’s what we are going to try and do.”
