Wrexham Concept Home Shirt Back
Wrexham fans are looking forward to the reveal of the club’s new home kit for the 2026 – 27 season, however, although Macron and the club have been holding the design secret, some kit rumors have been doing the rounds.
With help from fans and information that has been leaked recently, we’ve designed our own version of what the upcoming Wrexham home shirt might be. It should be stressed that this design is not official, only a concept.
A tribute to the new Kop
The biggest rumour surrounds the texture on the front (and maybe back) of the shirt.
Rumours suggest the upcoming new kit for the home games might come with a subtle pattern based on the barrier design that was installed during the construction of the new Kop stand at the Racecourse Ground.
It would be the perfect way of paying tribute to what is regarded as the biggest change in the club’s history of recent years and also help in linking the team’s new era with the iconic redesigning at Y Cae Ras.
If it happens, it would keep up the trend set by Macron recently, who always incorporates some local design into the team’s kits.
A return to a classic look
Another rumours claim that the club might decide to change the badge position for the upcoming season.
The team logo could once again be placed above the heart instead of being centered.

The combination would give the shirt a more traditional football feel while still incorporating modern design touches.
A nod to the Ground
Another interesting rumour is that the bottom of the shirt will feature a tribute to the Ground itself.

Although the exact phrasing or image is currently unclear, the hope is that Macron will make sure to add a unique element commemorating the Y Cae Ras to the design.
It would be a great addition to what could possibly turn out to be the most symbolic kit of recent times for the club.
Our mock-up
With those reported details in mind, we’ve produced our own concept showing how the shirt could look if the rumours prove accurate.
Our design includes:
- A Kop barrier-inspired front graphic.
- A traditional V-neck collar.
- The Wrexham crest returned to its classic position.
- Firefox as the front sponsor.
- Nex Playground on the sleeve.
- A tribute to the Ground incorporated into the lower hem.
As this is based on fan opinion and rumours, the design needs to be taken with a pinch of salt until Macron and Wrexham officially launch the new shirt.
If the leaks are anything to go by, this would prove to be one of the best home kits worn by Wrexham in a very long time, combining modernity and a sense of the past and future.
